In Venari, your goal is to capture two of your opponent’s soldiers.
The rules are very simple:
- You have 4 soldiers on the board.
- Each turn, you choose to move 1 to 4 spaces.
- One of your soldiers moves, space to space, the chosen distance along the paths.
- Try and trap your opponent’s soldier so they can’t move, and capture them.
- Capture two soldiers to win the round.
However, there are some restrictions to consider:
- You select how far to move on the Movement Track using your token, so there will only be 2 of the 4 options available at a time.
- You must move exactly the number of spaces selected.
- You cannot move through any occupied spaces, and you cannot backtrack and retrace your steps within a turn.
If at the end of a turn a soldier has no valid moves (because every adjacent space is occupied), they have been captured.
If you capture 2 soldiers, you win the round.
Win two rounds, and you are the victor!
